This small critter had the best day of her life.
She's got me chasing her for the whole afternoon until she decided that enough was enough and posed for a few seconds for me to take a couple of shots.
I didn't have a tripod with me, but that was not going to work anyway, so I took a couple of random shots as fast as I could.
Lens: Nikkor 70/300 manual focus.
Late afternoon
Aperture: 5.6
Speed : 1/500
ISO: 1800

Another picture, less sharp than the first one, but still showing the graceful pose she stood for me.
    C/C welcome.

You caught some nice poses there. I particularly like the pose in the second image.
I'm curious about the manual focus. Is that by choice? I tried it when I first got my camera, and discovered that the autofocus has much better eyesight than I do.

    Lindiwe:

It was not by choice, was a present from my Son in order to give me something else to work with and save some money until I could buy a 70/300 Nikkor AF/S.
If the Old Mighty helps, I will have the new one this week.
And yes, I realize that my eyesight is getting troubled with age, so this will help me a lot.
    I really appreciate your comments.beer.gif
