Springtime in Texas usually means Bluebonnets, and usually means lots of them. They've been a little sparse this year due to lack of rain, but I managed to find a few in my area. No spectacular landscapes in my neck of the woods so I've had to settle for a few small patches.

Thanks for the flowers... In Colorado they are not quite here yet. I like #5 the best

    Nice pictures :)
I went out this weekend to Washington County and it was sad how few flowers there are this year :(
I couldn't even get up the want to take any pictures.
    Damn lack of rain!!

Nice set. Looks like you did have one decent patch of blue--I like the backgrounds in 6 and 8. We were so spoiled last year by all the fields of color! This year is definitely a disappointment.

Thanks, everyone. I was lucky that my friend had a nice patch of blue in her yard (that she regularly waters). Her bluebonnets were thick and tall. The few that I have seen out and about have been scrawny and sparse. I found the Texas Maroons at Zilker Botanical Garden.
