OK so this is a Redneck (Grebe) Does this mean it is a Hill Billy? Grin!

    Thanks very much Ric, is that what you call these birds Ridge Runners?
    They sure are nice when they do there displays and the sounds are neat as well to hear.

    Superb set of images. Love the low angle.
    My favourite is the second capture, for no better reason than liking the bird's expression in that one. All gorgeous, though.

    Hi Lindiwe, again thanks for the comments on these images, and this was taken on the beach area and had the tripod down very low for these. Funny that you say that you like the second one as I do as well, it is out of the norm with the slight head turn, but in this one you really get to see there crest on the top of their head.
