Working with new lighting last week I came away with just one shot that I really liked. My normally willing model, it seems is still actually just three years old and go figure, doesn't have the patience to sit through adjustments of the camera/flash/umbrella!!
I'm still working with set ups, etc and I'm not sure that the new Photek softlighter and my 580ex are happy together just yet (manual settings on the flash inside the sock make it a chore to adjust).

So this one has it all...New lighting. I think her face is still a little hot. BW conversion. Done stricly in Elements 6. I use their preset conversions then make adjustments to the sliders to try to get what I'm after. And finally the crop. Is it just too tight or does it still work?
Thoughts, comments, crits...all welcome. Thank you!

Don't forget you can put a light bulb in the box so you can see where you light is going when you hit the flash. Your exposure is overexposed a bit.
