Nice set, Sara. It's hard to pick a favorite so I won't, but you've captured much of the diversity that makes street shooting so interesting. Better still, nobody attacked you. lol3.gif

    Well done. thumb.gif

Thanks, Richard. As for favorites, these are mine, of a larger set.

And yes, no attackers, but I'll admit, Harvard Square on a weekend is kind of like cheating because it's very much a festival atmosphere and cameras do not stand out all that much - it's a little like shooting goldfish in a bowl, there's so much going on.

Yeah, that's what shooting where I live is like. But hey, what's wrong with that? The image is all that matters.

That is certainly the impression you give of Madrid - that there is fun and festivity and there are picturesque people just waiting to be photographed on every street corner :D

Oh, and here's one that reminded me of you, Richard.

(as has been recently noted - it's interesting how we end up influencing each other)

This could be closer, but I like the doors on either side.

Yep, my sort of shot indeed. Don't mean to hijack this thread, but here's a similar one I shot just recently: http://rsinmadrid.smugmug.com/photos/1244430192_dTJT5-L.jpg lol3.gif

Oh, yeah. I'm reminded of the famous Willie Sutton quote that he robbed banks because that's where the money is.

    Nice series of people.

5, 6, & 10 hold my interest a little longer because there is more context other than an interesting face. 5 certainly has him skying incredibly high, In 6, I want to know what is captivating them.

I'd tell you, but that would take all the wonder away :D

    Thanks for commenting, rainbow.

That's why I love visiting large cities. The opportunities are everywhere. Great series Sara and certainly show the breadth of people there.

Thanks. All done in LR. Sometimes I tweak afterwards in PS - I struggle with getting enough contrast in LR - but these, I did not.

Nice set--my favorite is #6. A nice combination of expressions, including the people at the back and the woman who seems to be enjoying a nice moment or memory.

Thanks, Lauren, I appreciate your comment. The woman is actually a boy, seemed to be the brother of the girl on the right, but now that you mention it, it does look like a young woman lost in thought.

I was referring to the African American woman behind the trio. :D She looks to me like she is very content about something.
