Hello everyone. I'm hoping to make an introduction to you all with one of my favorite photos. This was taken in my backyard with my (since replaced) Canon 40D, natural lighting.

The original picture had about 30% open air around her head, which looked "just ok" so I thought to tightly crop it down, placing her eyes just about in the 3rds. At this point I really liked what I saw when a friend suggested I convert it to sepia in CS4. The result seen here is what I consider my finest work! I've been a photo enthusiast since the early 80's when I picked up a Canon AE-1 Program :thumb

I'm really enjoying this site and love the suggestions and constructive criticism.
