Hah! I use that Canon bag and love it. It wasn't such a big deal when I was shooting Sony, but now that I'm shooting Nikon I get dirty looks (from both the Canon and the Nikon guys!).

The front zippered area fits my iPad perfectly, which gives this bag the nod over several others I've used.

I did a bunch a research as well and I do feel you have missed one really good case. The Ape Case 2000

I purchased this Ape Case one for under a $100.00 and to be honest I feel this case is excellent. I have had 3 cases in the past - a Canon which was fair. A Tamrac Expedition 3 that I still have but feel its small. And have played around with a Lowepro and that was fine as well. The ape case I am very happy with and think this is a case that should have been considered as well. What are your feelings?
