That said, the 1190 looks very sweet.
What was the XR1200 doing there? I had a Sporty redone as a street tracker, just curious.
We got permission to attend and photography the breakfast for a future book and to document the rising of Erik Buell Racing his new company from the AMA. We also had limited track access. Most of the track shots were taken from outside the track fence. I guess I should have titled this thread "Daytona 2011 Races" not just the "2011 Daytona 200" since I posted photos from various races and the breakfast.
I was able to make some good connections in the AMA and they added me to there Photographer list for the northeast area. Not sure what that will mean for me but it can't hurt. Hoping to be able to do more of this in the future.
Shots 1-4 were taken at the AMA Hall of fame breakfast were Erik Buell was the special guest speaker.
Shots 5-7 are of a fellow Buell racer from Florida that was racing in the Daytona 200 race. He frequents one of the Buell websites I go on and was willing to put my Company website name on his Ride for the race.
Shots 8 is of another Buell/HD racer named Paul James. A really nice guy. He was racing in the new XR1200 series that was started last year. He has been a Buell rider for years and I think is the Head of HD's Advertising Department. Not 100% sure on his job title.
Shot 9 is of the Pit area for the two racers who shared some of there pit crew.
Shot 10 is of Pat Mooney on the Buell 1125R in the 200 race.
Shot 11 is of Paul James on the XR1200 in his race.
Shot 12-15 is of Geoff May on the Buell 1125RR in his race in the American Sport bike class.
Shot 16 is of Pat Mooney on the Buell 1125R in the 200 race.
Shot 17 is of Chris Carr in his last flat track race at Daytona.

He was a performance influence at HD, unfortunately HDs market didn't respond, let's hope the broader market can support a very creative guy.
Is the 1190 the new motor developed outside of HD?
