I photographed twin toddlers (both boys) for a friend a little over a year ago, and my biggest tip would be to use as much natural light as you can. Those guys moved so fast, and often in opposite directions, I couldn't have managed chasing them both and trying to modify light at the same time. The only time I bothered with artificial light was when the parents held them for the formal portrait part. The rest of the time I just tried to get the parents to help wrangle them into areas with open shade (outdoors) or great window light (indoors).

Photograph them in their natural environment doing what they do.
If you try to manage them and set up lights they will quickly get unhappy and.....it's a wrap.
I love the shot of them in their onsies! Something tells me this is the way their relationship will always be....him doing some stunt for attention and her laughing at him.
I also agree with the above advice on letting them do their thing in natural light and to just let things develop and be ready when they do. Have a great trip.

Natural light for the win.
