    Excellent
Lovely image there Andy, the light is really beautiful and brings out the young lady's eyes magnificently. No wonder her mother likes the shot... Good luck with the 5D.

15524779-Ti.gif I really like how the light hits her left eye. I like this shot much better than the one posted in teh other thread, but to each their own. How do you like the lens so far? Teh shots posted so far look pretty good with it, but does the lens feel good to you?

Like Kevin said, great eyes - detail and color, wow. Love the candid composition and totally trusting and natural expression on the child.

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

Just wait a couple of weeks for Andy to get tired of it...

I like it to. Great comp and capture.thumb.gif

I'll be interested in your further use and critique of this lens. Focus speed, low light performance with a max of f4, etc.

Well, I'm gonna say great shot, but the focal point seems to be behind the eyes, making them a touch soft.

Someone had to get off the Andy bandwagon!

    Hi Andy,

Lovely shot of a lovely girl with amazing eyes and a spirit to match.

Personally, I would perfer a very tiny crop on the top right of the frame so that the tiny areas of the blue sky don;t enter the frame.

I'm sure mom loves. I love, too.

I'm gussing out-of-the-camera jpeg, no PP. (I think you frame after you PP.) Is that true? I have some questions about the quality of 5D support in ACR 3.2.
    If not now, when?

:nono shot in raw, processed in acr 3.2. developed two exposures and blended to recover some highlights (it was really bright sunshine, and i had no assistant to hold the diffuser).

    what are your acr questions?
