I am using the WP-Smugmug plugin for Wordpress to display Smugmug images on my webpage.
See issue here: http://www.chugachpeaks.com/wasilla-weddings/settlers-bay-lodge/
Just discovered an issue with the RSS feeds tonight. I updated a gallery that is displayed here as a thumbnail gallery fed by RSS. It has worked great until today. After the update I collected some new images to the gallery and all of the new images do not display on the page. Using the inspector console I can see a 404 error for the first of the new images.
Upon comparison of the RSS image URL's, I see that the newly added images use the original filename(john-smith-01.jpg) instead of the smugmug filename(1162822188_MRRFv-Th.jpg).
The WP-Smugmug plugin (uses RSS) is now requesting a file like "http://chugachpeaks.smugmug.com/john-smith-01.jpg instead of the needed "http://chugachpeaks.smugmug.com/1162822188_MRRFv-Th.jpg".
We can't update our sites content now, so anyones help would be really appreciated!

Thank you for contacting SmugMug.
I am very sorry about the trouble. That is a bug and we are working to get it fixed as soon as possible.
I cannot give you a time estimate but look for a post on our release notes when that is updated. You can view the release notes here: http://news.smugmug.com/ I would recommend signing up for the RSS feed. Or by leaving a comment, you have the option to be notified by email when a new post is added.
If you have any questions or problems, please let us know.
All the best,

We shipped some URL changes on Thursday night which are affecting that plugin...but the real problem lies in the programming of the plugin.
The developer uses the 'guid' field from the feed and attempts to parse the URL to then determine/guess the other image size urls, but all the available image sizes are provided as part of the feed already.

As for the wordpress plugin itself, the change should be pretty straighforward...if I wasn't heading out with my family today, I'd make a patch for this myself. I'll see if I can squeeze in some time tonight.

Sorry for the confusion. It looked like a bug and smelled like a bug. But, Dev is the expert.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll be taking a look at this.
1) Support for new SmugMug RSS feed structure
2) Support for galleries larger than 100 photos
3) Removed support for WordPress Paged gallery style. This had been broken for some time, so I just got rid of it.

Please let me know if you encounter any problems with this update.
That's what I am talking about! Great work, Adam. That's the kind of product support that people rave about.
Everything looks great and it's better than before. Thanks again!
For the record, the media rss elements aren't new, they have been around for at least 3.5 years.
