B&W film with C41 Process

My digital camera is being used by my college-aged daughter (who loves the Nikon!) so I shot some film until I replace my digital.. wanted to go full-frame anyway.

I had some Ilford XP2 400 film, which uses C41 Processing for convienience in developing. Here are some test shots using an Olympus OM2 with 50mm f1.4 and polarizing filter:

    I like #1 - the texture, contrast, lines, and the person on the stairs makes the picture. Without him, there would not be much of a photograph here.

    That was over by the UN- had to park there, so I grabbed the camera.

    I thought it looked NY-ish. Love that place. Sometimes I get a craving for that place that just won't quit.
