Coyote in Snow

It has been a long winter . Middle of April and we're still getting snow. On my hike this morning I found two coyotes hunting for ground squirrels. One coyote ran off but this one was not too bothered that I was there.

Thanks for the advice Andy. I have been working on it and here is another photo from yesterday where I think i have applied the exposure better.

Behave yourself, Harry. Do you make no differentiation between bushy-tailed tree rats and ground squirrels?

Beautiful images. What wonderful animals. But then I don't own a free-range poodle, which I understand has become the snack-de-jour of California coyotes.
