i am just getting use to hdr myself
i seem to have two different modes going, for the most part i want to get as much dynamic range as possible with the exposure bracketing and hdr stacking software as possible without going overboard and making the image obviously blown away
other times i see an opportunity to get artsy with it
I think the surreal effect works well on this car as it is obviously vintage. Maybe just a personal preference, but I don't like the surreal as much when the subject is modern or current, but i think it works great when the subject is timeless or vintage as it tends to draw your thoughts backwards in time. :-) Would have loved to see it with just the car on the pavement (no building or people in the background), but obviously there was a lot of people and stuff around.
