A very rad way to enhance your del.icio.us experience.

    1) I can get my bookmarks from everywhere that there is an internet connection.

    2) I do a lot of stuff with CSS. One of the best ways that I've found to find links to the absolute best CSS websites is by going to http://del.icio.us/popular/css. That is a listing of the recent, most saved bookmarks that have something to do with CSS. You can of course replace CSS with any word you want.

    3) If I want to see the most recent tags (popular or not) that have to do with css and design I can go to http://del.icio.us/tag/css+design. I can simply use del.icio.us/tag/keyword1+keyword2+...+keywordn as the syntax.

    4) It's open source and has plenty of APIs to work with so developers can do cool things like del.icio.us direct.or to make it easier for you to surf your bookmarks. There are also a ton of Greasemonkey extensions for delicious to make it do all kinds of neat things.

Wow, Mike. I just read some of those. Great stuff. I have saved the links in my programming resource file. Thanks for posting this.

    Cool.

I could see now why you find it valuable.

The first thing I can already do through .mac, all my bookmarks are available to me all the time, backed up every day.

The rest of it...I'm not interested enough in anything to do that much work!

Seriously, I'll have to start browsing the popular feeds and seeing what's available to me there.

actually, it's pretty darn cool, and you get exposed to a ton of other stuff from other people (if you want to see what's popular with a topic).

simple to use: drag a link up to your browser bookmark toolbar and it's automatically put intto your delicious (works for firefox and safari)

This site is simply AMAZING -- I looked at several of the links on the right and it's a good lesson on how the same information can be presented with different graphics and colors for an entirely different feel to the site.

I also liked one on colour palettes! mwink.gifmwink.gif
