Ambient only, shot with the s95.

Not quite sure how to handle these shots - I absolutely LOVE the childlike glee on his face as he interfaces with the cake but I'm not sure my storyboarding/PJ skills have quite nailed how to tell the story.

Thoughts?

At the size posted, it's hard for me to see much of his expression in the smaller shots. Personally, I think I'd just go with two images: the main one, and the last (bottom right.) Good results for such challenging lighting conditions.

Beautifully done, divamum. Your father looks to be a wonderful man. The shots of him with his cake, the happiness evident on his face, is simply great.

I really like the main shot. The look on his face makes the entire shot!

DM you got it right as usual. I agree though it is hard to tell from the small size of the image. However the goal is definitely successful, it tells the story.
