Sweet shots. Definitely liking 3, 4 and 5. Did you use a sunset filter on the first two?

Thanks. No sunset filter. Combination of ND400 and 3 stop GND. You have some sick shots on your Flickr man!

Yowza, awesome shots. bowdown.gif Really great filter work. I need to learn how to do this. Can I ask what filter system you use?

Thx. Most were shot with either a combination of the Hoya ND400 screw on filter & the Singh Ray 3 Stop GND or just the GND filter. I also have a 3 stop reverse GND that i used on the one where the sun is very close the horizon.

Very nice set, I really like #4. I just love the subtle color pallet which goes so well with the foreground and reflected light.

Superbly done! Thanks for the great info on the filters. It is hard to pick a favorite. I really like #3 for its vivid colors and dynamic water. The green of the seaweed makes a nice transition to the sand, and the sand is so perfect I feel I could wiggle my toes in it. But . . . I chose #5 as my favorite. I like the B&W treatment and the waves in this one look like wisps of smoke . . . very mysterious-looking piece. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome collection! Really difficult to pick a favorite since all of them are superbly captured. The combination of sun, sea and sand is always a nice subject. They never fail to amaze me. Keep up the good work!

    These are incredible, almost sureal!

Mind sharing what setup you shot these with? Lens, etc?

The majority are taken with the Canon 5D MK II, EF17-40 Lens with GND's or ND's or both depending on how much light i need to cut down. I have a Hoya ND-400 and 2 Singh Ray GND's both 3 stops. One is a Regular GND and the other is reverse. Thats about it ;-)
