No, and I probably will just stick with Photoshop.
I can see the appeal, if one did not already have Photoshop, to have access to layers and masks.
Yeah, that's what keeps me using PS. But $500 seems like a pretty steep price for a product that probably only has a small fraction of PS functionality. Keep in mind that the usefulness of masks in PS is in part due to the wide variety of selection tools and methods for creating and modifying them. I'd be really interested in hearing some hands-on reports.
I started playing with the Public Preview version.
Here are some first personal impressions:
- It uses LR develop settings and exports the images before it launches them. You must first set the develop settings carefully. No way back...
- Performance is quite slow (maybe because it's a preview version).
- I don't know how many LR users use Wacom tablets, because the Masking Brush is a bit hard to control with a mouse.
- Blending modes create different results than PS. Color quite confused me...
- Show Mask feature is nice.
I'm not sure about this product. Need some more time to form a judgment...

Yeah, that's right. I didn't see any price for that specific plugin, but then I'll admit that I didn't try very hard. In any event, I stand by my point that masks without good selection tools are lame.
That is one of my gripes about Lightroom. As good as the adjustment brush is ( and it is pretty fair at times ) it still is lame compared to the selection tools in PS.

I think the $500 is for the full OnOne suite.

Note: He is (was?) the main creator of various upload plugin for LR and Adobe ending up hiring him as a consultant because of his work.
Love the post equating Kelby to a used car salesman!
Can't stand the guy...personally.
