The Catch of The Day

Hi, This is what I call The Catch of The Day for this Great Egret. And Lucky me I was there. When I saw the GE walking very carefully into the water I start shooting and then boom. The battle began.

Here is the complete serie of what happens. At the end the GE did not eat the whole thing.

    Nice shot. I am always amazed at the size of fish they can catch.

    Great Capture, not sure what kind of fish that was either, when blown up is there enough detail to help in identification?
