Well I know it was stated that this hack was no longer going to work, but up until a few days ago it continued to function. When will SM create a function such as this as part of it's normal tools? Please do not state that SM has a thumb cropping tool already. Yes it does and if I need to crop a large gallery of pics it will take me forever w/ the current tool. Please tell me some for thought was going on before killing this much needed tool.

many many hours into every gallery processing square thumbs. :pissed
It was working yesterday on one page at a time in Smugmug style.
Not today.

Funny you say that, because I tried it on 4/22 and no joy... maybe they are working it out... we can only hope
7pm Sat. allowing me to process and upload Friday's photos. The tornado
really messed my neighborhood, now a major road bridge over interstate 70 is
closed. At least the airport is starting to open.

Hope everything is OK with you. Sorry to hear about your neighborhood.
Has there been any update from SmugMug on this? It's a ridiculous omission to not provide us with some way of adjusting thumbs in bulk...

easily replace BZT.
1. At first thumb crop, keep ratio picked for current run-thru of thumbs.
2. When clicking "save", process/put thumb in background/queue and
immediately go to next thumb. Jumps to next thumb now after process.
Pros:
Above changes would require no waiting between thumbs, less clicking
then BZT therefore faster. "Crop Thumbnail" allows smaller crop then BZT.
Only rant with "Crop Thumbnail" and "auto go to next thumb" it's difficult to go
in reverse order from somewhere in the middle of the gallery.

bed. The newest changes to the tools > crop thumbnail tool are great. It now
puts the thumb in a queue when hitting save and immediately jumps to the
next thumb. No more waiting.
Only minor con is the ratio has to be picked with each thumb.
