This fish had moxie!!

I was taking some photos of the birds while waiting for the moon to rise and caught this shot of a bird hunting for fish.

This straight out of the camera.

Heavy crop (sorry) shows the fish spitting in the face of it's killer!

    Nice catch - and that goes for both the bird and the photographer :)
    Love the third image. That egret must need to eat an awful lot of these little fishies to get a whole meal...

    That bird at about 20 fish in that spot within about 10 minutes. Each time it struck it came out with a fish. A remarkable site which made for some easy shooting on my part.
