Megan was a good challenge for me. She was shy and insecure. A very nice sweet girl she was.

These closeups are a good examples of what Portrait Professional skin looks like. These are typical PP results on average quality skin.
They were all done in PP in less than 5 minutes and then a minute or two of cloning.

Mike I peeped the entire album, you really got some nice shoots of her.
What did you use for fill flash?
Kudos...these shoots can be very challenging.

Thanks for having a look and taking the time to comment.
reyvee thanks for having a look at the album.
I was happy with a lot of the shots. Imagine there are some better ones in the album than I posted here, I have a hard time picking the best ones, always :).

Flash was sb800 on a stand with 42" soft box.
A lot of these are natural light, just using the sunlight bouncing off buildings. 1 4 8 are natural light, pretty sure.
The flash helped a lot in some of the shots to put the emphasis on the right areas.

I really need to look at a more recent version of PP - I have an older one and seldom use it because the results are so fake, but these look *great*.

Number 4 is my favorite of the ones posted, but this whole set really shows off your chops, Mike - you say she was shy, and she isn't quite the "perfectly proportioned" as a lot of your subjects seem to be, and you've still delivered a really vibrant, flattering set. Very nice indeed! thumb.gif

I think she would be very happy with the results. Gorgeous light blue eyes and cute hair cut for her.

I just downloaded PP and wow...so easy and fast. TFS

Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. Appreciate it!
Thanks it is good to be challenged once in a while.
3 is actually one of my favorites, I worked so hard getting that confident pose out of her....

PP. The trick is to use complexion female or subtle. Then keep all the settings low, than all it does is clean the skin a little. You can adjust as necessary, really easy to learn in a couple hours just messing with it. I am using version 6, I have never seen any reason to upgrade it. Stay away from the eye and teeth whitening, not good.
