I went backpacking with friends last week in the Catalinas North of Tucson. These were taken along Lemmon Creek and off the ridge above our campsite.

Thanks Nate. Those were some wind driven high clouds blowing in, lit up by the Tucson city lights in the valley below.

    Thanks Dan and Werner.

Looks like the last one of the illuminated clouds is the favorite. I appreciate your comments.

Thanks Aaron. I have to agree from a impacting image viewpoint I like how it turned out too. Pretty much SOOC with almost no PP.

Thanks for the appreciation Bryan. The stream we camped next to had tons of those little frogs everywhere. In the early evening they all croaked together creating a mind blowing sound. We were all happy they went to bed and got quiet when we did.

I really like #2 and #3. what a nice find this little waterfall, with what looks like some fall leaves wedged in the falls. Also a very impressive night cityscape.

Thanks Doug. This was my first opportunity to use ND filters to frost water flow. Living in Southern Arizona running streams are few and far between. rolleyes1.gif

I enjoyed the experience and now will go in search of larger stream scenes that have more volume to play with.

Yes, there were both colorful oak leaves and a few pine needles trapped under the water flow that added some nice color. The upper falls in the crack are not very visible in this small image. If you go to my gallery and view the larger images you can see the upper small falls too.

Thanks again for looking and your comments.
