    This one made me laugh! I love the dogs' expressions and the title rocks. This isn't what I was expecting either.

    Much better. Try going even farther -- bring in the left side to just behind the brown dog, keeping the fence pole and a little bit of fence in. Bring down the top to just over the fence. That might be too much, but sometimes it helps to overcrop then back off. I'd forget about the aspect ratio -- pick something that looks good and don't worry about meeting a particular aspect ratio.
