I finally have some free time to do another challenge. Here is an idea I was thinking about for this challenge. I read Shaun's post about being creative with this one, so here I am "being creative" with this idea. Do any of them work? :) They each have a slightly different effect on them.

    Not bad, Jenn. I think a more natural color would work a bit better.

    oh man this would have definately worked for the last challenge:)

    I like it for this one too. I'm not going to be much help because I like #2, I like the wild processing and colors. It's like a dream sequence.

    Thanks for your input everyone! I kind of didn't even try the last challenge (because I didn't understand it). How would this image have fit for that challenge? :D

    Yes, Jenn, I really like it. To be honest, I didn't know what I would find in here, but I was pleasantly surprised! I like the glow on both sides of the hall. There is a bit of noise in there and I'm not sure if I like that or not, but it's not enough to take away from the shot.

    I like your idea, but I'm not sure I'm wild about the various colors. Maybe you could try it in just black & white??? I like the composition & title a lot though.

    Ok I read Seans 2nd post... I guess I didn't see many of Kubricks movies so I couldn't figure out how to do a photo to fit that challenge.

    These images were my first tries at editing this hallway image. I kind of like how they turned out. I think tomorrow I'll give it another look... see what I SEE in editing it any differently. I know I don't do anything that would come close to winning... I'm just tickled pink ya'll like them!! :D

    I'm so happy you and a few other LIKE my idea! :D I'll see what it looks like in b&w... I kind of like #4 more because of the contrasting colors ... they kind of make the whole image POP for me.

    I like #1 and #4. I think the noise is great -- it adds some texture to what could be (but isn't) a very cold, clinical image.

    The only thing I'd suggest is that they look a little bit tilted clockwise to me. I don't know if that is a reality or illusions. If they are reality, you could straighten it up. Or, perhaps, tilt it *just* a little bit more. Not enough to make it trite, but just enough to make it twist your head as it draws you down the corridor.

    Good stuff here!

    Good idea Jenn, and I agree with the others, also with straitening it a bit. Trying it B&W would be interesting,
    but before I had the chance to read other's comments I thought that I would like to see it in more natural colors,
    even tough a surrealistic feeling of it fits very well the idea.

    My first thoughts are the first image, I really like the blue door and how it stands out. I also have the same feeling with it not being 'center'. If it was dead center, maybe it would impact a bit more. Great idea and PP.

    Believe it or not, the door is straight.. what you're seeing is an illusion. :) That's what the rulers in photoshop tell me.

    I like the last one with the blue door! Cool. You could evoke other emotions too by working with the door...a cloud overlay would be intriguing, for instance.....
