Got to shoot with a couple of dgrinners this past weekend in a very remote area in the desert southwest on Hopi indian reservation land. You can read about this on my BLOG if you wish but here are a few shots from what was a very fun adventure.

Great stuff Dan. Glad you had a good time on the trip.

One thing though- it is Marble Canyon not Marlboro. Must have been those mini cigars you were smoking.

I think you really want to be the 'Marlboro Man' after spending time in that beautiful, rugged land!

The first pano is awesome. The colors are unexpected in the usual red country!

Nice stuff Dan. That first shot is really sweet. I bet it would look great as a high contrast b/w.

That looks like a great area! I like cigar canyon and the first shot too (but there's a little cyan CA in the upper left of it that you might be able to fix in post). The blue dawn tones are great.

Looks good! Believe me, I only notice this stuff in other people's photos, in my own photos I spend 15 minutes processing it, upload it, and then notice it an hour later
