Number four is spectacular. The lighting and composition is perfect as is the body language and expressions. I continued to look at it for quite some time, which I guess is what we would like to have happen to all our images.

I also like number 3 a lot as a companion shot to number 4.

You nailed your first maternity shoot with those two images alone!

    Congrats!

Only small nit on number four is that it might have been better to have the "father to be" adjust one of his legs so as not to afford us a view directly into his crotch.

You have the start of some very nice work here. A couple of things to remember always have your subjects sit up and not slouch. Watch out for those pesky hair rubbery things that girls use to pull their hair back and put them over the wrist. Try to keep the fingers together so they don't resemble sausages and try hard to not show the back of the hand when possible. When your working hard on a session these things always get overlooked as you try to get everything else correct but its the little things that help to create the total image.

I really like #3 (very small nit would be to clone out the one highlight just to the right of him)
I too really liked 4 but for his not sitting up.
#6 is really nice too except for the dark bra showing through.
    All in all, very nice!

I like the last one a lot.

    Charles, you give great advice.

    #3 is sweet--a fun shot.

#4 is interesting..because he is haunched it sort of has him in a self made shadow and enhances how 'glowing' she is...

#6 I like a lot as well..I didn't spend a lot of time with the shot but it looks like your lighting is a bit flat(??) possibly bump up the brightness and contrast a little(???)
Well, I guess you would call me... genus, humanus... Alice.

FWIW, In this world of tats and piercings and ?, a hair tie doesn't really bother me.
    Nice job!

Yeah, but body art is part of who they are. A stupid rubber band is just an oversight. :D

I agree but I'm laughing thinking about a Jimmy Buffett song-

Yep. My beautiful daughter has spent a boatload of money on "remedial" tattoos.
