Here are some digital shots from Beijing. I mostly shot medium format film and will post those after they're developed. Enjoy. What a place.

Nice rendering. With these pictures alone, I can say that you're enjoying your stay in Beijing. I really like the 9th image. The B&W version suited it perfectly. I wonder what that man was looking for. Anyway, nice series.

Hi John, thanks. The 9th image is Kodak 100 TMAX. I'm not sure what he was looking for in the moat.

Like #7 in the first set, capturing the sense of crowds at the market.

Exposures in the second set slightly "hot" for my tastes (except #1, which I like a lot) -- is this deliberate or part of the learning curve for returning to film?

Thanks Rainbow. #1 in the second set is taken with a different camera than the following 3. Always a learning curve, always...new developer.

    Hi Damon,
Your initial post left me wanting and therefore didn't comment. I also didn't immediately recognize them as yours, at all. Yet, I love the second batch you posted, a completely different set. Love it.

Great set, Damon. I particularly like group 1, #5 and group 2, #2.
What I said when I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time: "The wide ain't wide enough and the zoom don't zoom enough!"
