This looked really good on my home monitor but looks like crap on my work monitor.
Thinking maybe I will rework it and remove the texture from her skin....
Ok so I reposted it.
Funny how we can fool ourselves sometimes. I usually let shots sit for a day and then look at them again....should have with this one.
Reposted version is more what I was seeing in my head.
Thanks for the comments.

I wouldn't call it a failure.
I kinda like the grittiness of the first one and the fact that it appeared to me like she was dancing in the rain a bit.
The second one in very nice too, but I think the subject might be a bit too, umm, "clean"? in comparison with the scene.
Thanks for the comments.
Yes the two shots definitely have different feels. I am still experimenting with the textures so work in progress.
I think the first one might look better with a little more blur or glow to it....hmmm
The dancer's image is very different in each. The first (esp with the processing) is quite mysterious, what with the hair obscuring her face. The second, "prettier" of her. The first might (as you've hinted) be taken even farther into the ethereal zone.

Good idea. Just leave it a little grainy. I like it.
