San Jose de Gracia Church, Las Trampas, Mew Mexico

This is another mission-style church on the scenic High Road to Taos, between Santa Fe and Taos. Compared to the more famous church in Rancho de Taos that I posted here, this is a more hardscabble church, not nearly as carefully tended, but I like the rather tired look it has.

Unfortunately, I did not leave enough room in the framing to correct for camera tilt and perspective without losing the cross on the left bell tower.

Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

Like this a lot, the wonderful depth moving through the image makes it very interesting.

Good work indeed, Werner. Very nicely handled in PP.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I'm just joking around and having a little poke-jab with ya, no harm intended.

None taken. I've become so dependent on spell checkers that I forget that a misspelled word is often a real word and you have to actually read what you write.
