This is the main entrance to the SeaWorld complex in San Antonio, Texas. Thank you very much for viewing.

Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

Thank you very much, Devin. I guess that 11 layers of adjustment paid well this time.

Thank you very much, Sir.

The contrast between the textures and the sky works perfectly. Very good shot!
The only small thing that bothers a bit my eyes is the halo on the sky close to the building's outline... but then I know how halos are difficult to remove!
Very good job in the B&W conversion also.
Andrea.
Thank you very much for the input, Andrea. I did not notice the halo much, must be my old eyes. I will try to work on that later. Thank you very much for viewing.

And I'm not going to say anything that can confuse you.:D
Tom
Thank you as always, Bruddah. The right side clouds do actually look darker in the original file and I guess the post-processing must have exaggerated them more than I anticipated. I just finished adjusting this work based on Andrea's and Richard's valuable input and yours, too so here's the final edit. Yes, Tom, a small amount of grain was added intentionally to add more "drama" to the shot. I guess working with only 6MP on the camera has its limits, too. Thank you very much for all your input, guys. I am always learning from you all.

Thank you very much, Jay. What I did on the edit is that I applied 4 separate layers of curve adjustments based on the eyedropper tool. I sampled a 3 X 3 area on the part of the halo and also on the neighboring areas to see the tonal values based on numbers (the eyedropper tool can do that). From there I selectively adjust the clouds area by area by applying a mask on the curve adjustment layers until I think it balances the whole tone. Hope I did it OK.

Much better now! Good job. thumb
Andrea.
Excellent framing, too...not sure if it's been mentioned...it looks to me as if the building is "exploding" from the bottom left corner...that leads my eye across the whole building.
Nice.
Thanks a lot, Andrea. Whoohoo!
