Nice shirts! Some of those are pretty clever. I have a question: can you combine 2 of those designs onto one shirt? And does that cost any extra?

The design is referring to the L-series lenses Canon offers (identified by a red "L") -- equivalent to gold ring Nikon lenses or ED-glass lenses. Ultimately, Canon shooters lust for one, and those who own them love them. Hope this helps!

Huh. Being a nikon shooter I can't imagine that only some of my glass is good and there's some crap out there.

Agreed! L-lenses are extremely sharp, but to most people, they wouldn't see enough difference from non-L glass to warrant the price. To those who are a little more picky and will crop down 100x, it warrants the price tag. "Better" and "best" seems more like it.

It's not just sharpness, it's build quality, fast AF (with most Ls), and colors and contrast that make them so pricey.

You're absolutely right. L's are built like a tank. Considering how they perform, some aren't too pricey now. A 70-200mm L non-IS runs just as much as say, a 85mm. Both really great lenses that perform exceptionally well.
