I'm still at the very early stages of building up my glass collection. And with each L lens being thus far far beyond my financial reach:dunno I'm looking at something I can afford now and what would be a nice walk-around lens.
I'm thinking of the getting EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. It seems to be within my $ cap, focal range looks very close to the one of 828, which I love (even though it would be a bit on a tele side due to the 20D's FOV 1.6 crop factor).
Can somebody please provide some hands-on feedback about this particular piece of equipment?
Thanks a lot!:thumb

If NG does not let even PF (who happened to be her hubby) use it, how could it possibly work across a couple ot the time zones with a total stranger:-)?
irony 1 |??r?n?; ?i?rn?| noun ( pl. -nies) the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect : “Don't go overboard with the gratitude,” he rejoined with heavy irony. See note at wit . • a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result : [with clause ] the irony is that I thought he could help me. • (also dramatic or tragic irony) a literary technique, originally used in Greek tragedy, by which the full significance of a character's words or actions are clear to the audience or reader although unknown to the character.
Cheer up, Nik, I almost put the definition for gullible!

But I guess my command of English language was severely affected by a very late night (was processing the pikchas from TOHS hosted band competition), so *my* irony went unnoticed:-)
Cheers, mate!
