I like both of these, though #2 slightly better. I think close-ups of single blocks given the usual 'Rust Junkie' treatment might turn up some good images, too!

I was wondering if someone would want these pushed for the 'rust look'
Must admit I did push it in editing. Went even further then what's posted, but then backed off. I chickened out
I'm voting for #2 as well. The two small red spots are perfect to break the symmetry and regularity of the blocks. I think the shot would be much less interesting without them.

Good catch clap!
Andrea.
Thank you Andrea
Some times imperfections can make a photo work while other times people say to clone it out. Glad I didn't clone those out.
What I find interesting is that people are noticing the 2 red drops of paint, but no mention of the brick below it that's sticking out.

I'm not at all an expert of "psychology of viewing", but I bet that's because the sticking brick is close to the center, so it breaks the symmetry in a less strong way...

Seems #2 is the pick out of the two photos
I was wondering if anyone would find the red paint a distraction vs a compliment to the photo. Glad to hear it wasn't a distraction.
