Hi - Photographed this bumble bee on our balcony enjoying the takings of a Lavender Plant.

Photographed with Sony Cybershot DSC-S85 in macro mode (handheld). Standard camera lens.

    Nice shot Herman.........I too have a lovely Lavender Plant in my yard, that looks to have almost doubled in size since I've been gone....and I did notice that it is attracting the bees clap.gifclap.gif ......we don't get bumble bees where I live.....just the ordinary kinda bees, they're not easy to photograph are they ......little buggars keep moving..... I really want to find a decent bee this summer ......thanks for your post....... Skippy (Australia)
