I love the hats and the enormous fire hydrant. Cool shot, but I would crop it quite a bit to eliminate extraneous background and make the couple take up more of the frame.

I agree with Richard on the crop. What a wonderful shot!!

Thanks Richard and Juano. Richard has sent me a cropped version and I am uncertain as to which I like.
Backstory: I was driving the car reflected in the window at a red light. The two came out of the bar and donned their hats. I had about seven seconds to retrieve my camera, boot it up, and get the snap as the light turned green. I turned left and glanced at them and they were lighting up cigarettes -- I missed this shot...:cry
Rainbow this is just great!
I often find mysel always on the opposite side of the cropping suggestions. I can not say why that is, but again in this case I don't agree, it looks better to me uncropped. Right or wrong, cropped or not it still works, but I"m still partial to your original post.

Excellent addition to your collection.
Thanks! I think I lean toward this as well. But it becomes a very different feeling pic with the recrop.
And it's nice to find out I have a collection!

This is really cool, & if I understand you shot this from the car, which I think makes it even better. I also find myself on the tight crop side of the world, but that's probably because I never crop tight enough myself!

Thanks! Shooting from the car was a speed exercise, not a composition one and I got lucky.
I like the original. To me, it is much more interesting--I know they are on a corner and that they can go get money from the ATM. I also like the DetectAll sign at top of the frame. The cropped version doesn't get me interested in the shot.

Thanks, Richard. It is helpful to get perspective and opinions like this.
Thanks -- this was lucky since I was restricted to the driver's seat.
