Goosenecks State Park

Goosenecks State Park is located in Southern Utah near Mexican Hat and Valley of the Gods. Here you can see the San Juan River has carved the "goosenecks" from the rock. Converted to black and white with gold tone applied.

    Great angle! I find it slightly disconcerting that the river itself has almost no texture. lol3.gif Is that just the way the light was at the time, or a product of the processing?

    As I recall, I took the picture in early afternoon, so the sun was pretty high. I think that had an effect on texture. Also, the color of the water was sort of mud green.
