Key words

I get many different feed backs on key words.. is it good to add key words to your html on the site or does it hurt the site? I have had some say yes its good and other say Google doesn't like that... whats your feed back? I'm on page 5 of Google trying to get to page 2 at least.:scratch:scratch:scratch

I have keywords on the photos but then there more like code for the smart galleries to find the images I want in that folder... But I don't have any descriptions.

Go in and add captions, keywprds, gallery descriptions. As long as it's relevant information on the photos, it should help.
