About 3/4" diameter. Complicated little thing. Only saw one cluster of 3 on a two mile walk in the Vermont woods.

    The light and DOF are just perfect, and it's very much detailed. I like in particular the way the center looks brighter than the petals, you get an impression of light from the center...

    Thank you Andrea. There was a another bloom in the cluster that was a bit further along and all the little "egg" thingies in the center were open. It looked very crowded and busy so I shot this one because of the different textures it had.
