    I like that concept a lot Joe.

    Have you tried that image just the way it is (everything but the ring black and white) but leaving the sky a pale blue? That thought just popped into my head thinking it might look nice, but wouldn't know if it worked till it was tried.

    Selective color killed it. Avoid the gimmicks.

    Thanks I appreciate it...

    @Bryce - Yes I tried it that way, but everything else overpowered the Ring, so I left it where the Ring was the primary feature.

    concept is okay..I think you could bump the exposure by a whole stop..as is now it just looks grey and muddy. The ring needs more prominence as well imo..it is too small to anchor the shot right now.
