alien bees

I am considering buying alien bees strobe. Any advice? is there a better option?

    Alien Bees are really an excellent choice.

    I do not, however, regret purchasing my Adorama Flashpoint II monolights. They represent a very nice option and I am very happy with overall performance.

    Alien Bees do have a wider line of accessories and that is often a selling point as well.

    I have two AB800 units, and love what I am able to do with them. They're solid units, lightweight, and work great. I began using them triggered by light, but now use RadioPoppers with them. I really like being able to adjust the power of the light from my camera, and the recycle time on the AB units keep up with me. I'd recommend them to my friends.
