Simple uploader for Assistant

Hi,
Is it just me? I have an assistant login to someone else's account and normally use the Simple uploader so I can drag and drop, with IE9 or Firefox. It doesn't start up and I have previously used the "have a problem, try a different uploader" and just re-chosen Simple Uploader, but now that doesn't work either. The java spinny thing doesn't appear.
It works for me on my accounts, where I'm am master, but for this assistant account, not working. and the Flash uploader isn't checking whether stuff is already there, so now I have three copies of the same picture and can't delete them because I'm the lowly assistant.
is it just me having trouble uploading?
thanks,
Anna

Sorry to hear that. The issue has been reported to our bugman. For now, can you please use a different uploader? On Firefox you should be able to use the html5 uploader just fine which supports skipping duplicates as well.
I'm sorry for any hassle.

I ended up using HTML5, but skipping wasn't working. Had to figure out which pictures uploaded and which didn't. Pretty weird. I have never seen skipping not work before. I had it on Skip Duplicates too.
thanks.
