Keywords With LightRoom Publish to SM

No problems with the publish to LightRoom feature, and I love it. But when I publish the images to SmugMug some extra keywords get dragged along. For example this is what shows in the Keyword Tag panel in LR 3.4:

2010, Allegheny County, bird, blue, Blue-bellied Roller, captive, National Aviary Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, teal, white

However this is what ends up in SM:

2010, Allegheny County, BirdsRest of World, Blue-bellied Roller, Location, National Aviary Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, Year Shot, bird, blue, captive, teal, white

BirdsRest of World, Location, United States and Year Shot are the hierarchical headings (or on a higher level) for Blue-bellied Roller, Pennsylvania and 2010 from my LR keyword list. The other keyword terms come from groups with hierarchical headings as well but they don't get dragged along.

I don't know if I need to change setting in LR or in the SM Publish dialog. Can anyone help?

Thanks
Ken

In lightroom, if you right click on the keywords that are at a higher level, there should be an option to uncheck "include on export". This is how I have mine set up.

If that doesn’t work, when publishing, you may also need to uncheck the "Write keywords as lightroom hierarchy" option.
