After a winter with tons of snow and a very wet and cold April, it's finally acting like spring around here and I think I can brave taking the snow tires off the car. :clap
Wildflowers are catching up fast -
1. marsh marigold by a streamlet -
2. hobblebush (from under a branch)
3. purple trillium
4. and a Blanding's turtle (a rare species as it turns out) with about a 10" carapace (that's only the front of the head peeking out)
I know it's nothing new, but I can't help myself after all that snow.
