So, I headed over to Boca Grande yesturday to practice shooting some birds and to catch the sunset when I ran into these guys grabbing some dinner. I know they are Ibis', I'm in the process of learning all the names of the local birds, and I believe the colored one is a juvinile.

This one could have been the shot of the day if it was in focus, bummer.

C&C is most welcome, thanks for looking!

Second and third are my favourites. And maybe the 4th isn't perfect, but well done to catch that moment!
Thanks for the confirmation on the juvenile, and yes, our shortage of birds around here makes it difficult to find subjects any where near or around water.
On my way to Boca there is a good stretch of road by the water that is just loaded with Osprey. It's amazing how many there are. Their nest's just line the road all the way to the island. You can see them on every phone pole or power line just hanging out eating some fish. The only problem is that you can't park anywhere near them, making it difficult to get to them. I'll have to find a spot to drop the kayaks in and paddle over.

Thank you, these guys were quite cooperative, and it was a good test of my patience, which I find I need to shoot wildlife. I found a nice spot on the shore and waited til they got comfortable and walked right up to me.

Thanks Pam, I appreciate the feedback! #5 is one of my favorites, I really like the colors of the water in that one, it really complements the juvenile's coloring.
