I'm working on the road and have misplaced my charger for my Nikon d90. Can I use the USB cable thats normally used for downloading images to charge my battery?
My brief research seems to indicate the the Nikon D90 is not able to charge the battery from the USB port.
On Flickr there was a discussion about this and that was the conclusion they reached. The original poster of that thread was not able to find another charger on the road but was able to find a new battery at Best Buy and the battery had enough charge to allow 1200 exposures.
