Not British Columbia....New Jersey! This family lives next to a lake on one side and a suburban housing development on the other, not far from a major highway. It's their eighth year in the area. We are thrilled to have them as neighbors! They have two eaglets this year, but at the time only one was brave enough to peek out.

Great shot! I'm constantly blown away every time I see one of these guys flying around, they are amazing creatures.

Pear, I look forward to seeing more photos as the babies get braver (and bigger). Thanks for posting. I always look forward to your photos. Best, Pam

It must be exciting to have a nest so close. Good capture.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Pam, what a very nice thing to say! Thanks so much!

Harry, many thanks! It really is very exciting. I could do with a 1000mm and better lighting, but I'll keep trying! :)
