Well we had a nice morning yesterday and I went out to the local park to photograph more wood ducks, so here are a few from the morning shoot.

Dennis, they are all great, but I LOVE the first one--I think it is the ideal wood duck photo. Vibrant colors, such a cute expression. Great job! Best, Pam

Hi Pam, thanks for the comments on this series of images. I think that first one is a classic pose with the mouth open as well and a great expression as you mentioned. But for me I'm leaning more to the third image, but I have decided to print both 1 & 2 and frame them and put them both side by side on the wall.

Thanks Art, and when you mentioned that you never captured one taking off or landing had me thinking about if I had ever catured them doing that. I found 3 images only of them in flight. These little ducks can really move fast and I think that we are not ready for them to take flight or even come in for a landing although I seen them do this a number of times, but of course a last minute thing. Here is the best one that I have in flight for you did not spend of time to edit this.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Hi Mike, this was a very nice compliment from you. I sure have enough images that I can pick and choose from to make up a calendar.

Thanks again for the comments and kind words on these images.
