Prom: Need some suggestions
I have been asked to take portrait / couple shots at a Prom, here in Japan.
I have been told that the Prom Committee will be providing a background: A golden wall with some sort of arch with a masquerade theme :huh
The photographer previous to me took photos like this:
I'm having a bit of trouble trying to think of a lighting solution for this- I sorta thing these shots above are a bit boring. The only lighting equipment I have is my 3 speedlights: 2 x Canon 430EXIIs / 1 x Nikon SB-800 (with umbrella's) Fired with PocketWizards. - The shots above are with 2 studio flashes with a reflective umbrella.
How would you go about doing this? Any suggestion would be appreciated!
PS. This golden fan / wall thing is used as a backdrop in various things during events in Japan... ITS SOO SHINY, Its driving me NUTs
