Another group of kids playing the tug of war during their field day event in school. Thank you very much for viewing.

Nikon D70, Nikon 18-70mm set at 18mm, Exposure at ISO 200, f4.5 at 1/2000 second, Matrix Metering in Manual Mode. Color processing and conversion to black and white using Lightroom 3.
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

    very nice; very "crisp" nice PP. It made me reflect how B&W could work during harsh, mid-day sun.

    Such clarity....black and white is wonderful here...but the scene....joy, joy, joy! Oh to be a kid again!

    Thanks a lot, Tracker. I always shoot in RAW so that gives me some extra latitude when I do the edit in Lightroom and Photoshop. :D

    Another good one, though for me, this one doesn't have the immediacy as the other tug-of-war shot you posted. Still, the little kid in the big cap makes the shot. thumb.gif

    Only downfall I can see in this photo Jiro is that one of the little kids has parents that are brainwashing him. Poor kid is being misled to think that UT is the school to be at. EVERYONE knows A&M is where it's at!

    Darn nice capture, B&W looks great and you were able to capture the true action going from Left to Right!

    Well done! I like the variety of positions the kids are in, including the guy at the anchor shot who is really working hard. Nice BW conversion--rich black in that first t-shirt.
